british parliament is the best thing ever, after "the mariner's revenge song" by the decemberists.
they say "aye!" and "nay!" when the agree/disagree with something, and one guy said, 'now see here' to tony blair. so so excellent. and they sit down / stand up all the time, like they're listening to radiohead's httt or something

whenever we're somewhere that has normal tv channel, my dad turns to c-span because he LOVES watching parliment.
you do realize that in the senate, they have little buttons to vote with labeled "yay" and "nay"? but it's not as cool as saying it.

i was just noticing that if the queen were really dead, it would directly correspond with what parliament was doing.
