Film review: An Inconvenient Truth
Al Gore, what a great guy. He's a politician who you can like, because of his conviction and resolve and whatnot. I'm so glad they made a movie about him.
In
An Incovenient Truth, we really get to see him shine. In his role as himself, he plays a down-to-earth yet admirable advocate of some sort who goes around being patriotic and inspirational. It's really quite a powerful performance.
Hearing Al Gore talk really makes you feel like you believe in something. He's very convincing and even witty while he's discussing really important stuff. He's the kinda guy that you feel like you can have a conversation with but still elect, you know? I just love to hear him talk so much, I burst into applause gave a standing ovation when the lights came up.
The only thing I didn't like about
An Inconvenient Truth was that sometimes I felt like there wasn't enough Al. There were way too many glaciers and stuff which distracted me from his sexy proactiveness. He really makes me want to get and vote. For him.
The best part about this movie was that you could see lots of people you know at the theater and talk about how great a person Al Gore is, and what a great sense of community we all have because of this wonderful movie. Also, I couldn't get enough of his hair. It's really a good look for him.
He also mentioned something called global warming in the movie. It sounds kinda scary.
