liveblogging the first presidential debate--in an alternate dimension

I, uh... I slept through it the first time, but CNN is reairing it so here goes:

I looked into John McCain's eyes and I saw four letters: an S, a T, an F, and a U.

:01 Haha McCain actually showed up. I was kind of hoping Obama could just debate himself.
:04 Barack Obama wants to move swiftly. Oh, but you do, Barry, you do.
:06 Aww, Walnuts is sick. He feews so bad, you guyz. :(
:09 Hey what the hell is this thing at the bottom of the screen anyway? It looks like McCain's vital stats, which are going dooown right now.
:10 McCain remembers the good old days of the... invasion of Normandy?
:14 Walnuts is America and so can you!
:15 Janie's got a pen, Janie's got a pen... but it's kinda old.
:18 McCain doesn't want to go back and forth, in a debate.
:20 Lehrer just wants them to make out or something.
:23 Finally Barry brings up that McCain wants to tax your fucking health insurance
:24 and McCain... pretty much ignores it.
:31 lol Barry called him Tom, like his uncle
:33 spending freeze on everything but defense what? who is he trying to win over?
:33 first mention of Iraq! 30 minutes in! did you catch? Iraq, you know... that country we invaded. No, the other one. We're still there. No, really.
:38 McCain wasn't elected Miss Congeniality, but he does look smashing in a tiara.
:38 Maaaveriiiick!
:40 Oh damn they're actually talking about foreign policy now and it's kinda boring
:44 Hey Nobama... stop livin in the past, mannn. total dodge on the surge.
:50 I forgot what they were talking about, but in any case I'm surprised McCain could stay up this late
:52 That thing on the bottom is turning yellow, like Juan's teeth! Someone do something!
:56 Man, they might not think so, but their foreign policy differences are pretty much only strategic and not philosophical.
:57 Talk about failed states.
:57 haha, immediate republican bump just by mentioning Reagan.
1:01 Senator John McCain is firmly opposed to holocausts.
1:03 John McCain wants to remake the League of Nations. He's really old enough to be nostalgic for it.
1:08 Ah-med-in-e-jad. it's not really all that hard.
1:09 You don't need to start every answer with "Let's talk about this," Barry. It's kinda understood.
1:10 HAHA TEA PARTY WITH DICTATORS! that was awesome. Kinda like what Bush does with the Saudi family.
1:16 They're talking about Kissinger now. The shonda.
1:18 Oh noes, Obama said countries should show restraint in their mutual disregard for international law, the horror.
1:25 Whoops forgot I was watching this. How did they get on to energy?
1:28 We can never torture again (but I'm not gonna vote on an amendment to prevent it)
1:34 Here's what's wrong with our national political conversation: Obama/Democrats says stuff like, "John McCain is a national hero, we thank him for his service." McCain/Republicans say things like, "Obama's too black young naive and inexperienced to be president, like Teddy Roosevelt was. Hahaha community organizer what a tool!"
1:37 McCain always sounds like he's telling a bedtime story.
1:37 Finally it's over.
