The newly elected Prime Minister of Spain is pulling their troops out of Iraq, a very popular decision. This sends a message to America, specifically the Democratic Party.

Today is the one year anniversary of Rachel Corrie's death. She was killed by Israeli bull-dozers in a non-violent protest against the destruction of the home of Palestinian health care worker's home in the Gaza strip.
